| 后现代主义设计并不是一种具有明确宗旨的设计风格，而是一种在形式上对现代主义进行修正的设计思潮与理念。首先提出的一整套关于建筑的思想体系和设计方法，决定了后现代主义风格首先表现在建筑设计上，而后再影响到其他领域。其方式 一是后现代主义已成为一股发展的潮流，一种时尚的象征，而后现代主义建筑师则是这一时尚的代表，同时又跨越了设计领域的界线，成为其他设计领域的设计师。二是建筑师认为产品设计是建筑设计的一部分，同样投入极大的热情，从而带动了其他设计领域后现代主义冈格的发展。 室内设计在这一时期获得了充分的表现自由，充满了个人主义色彩与大胆幻想的成分。许多建筑师与室内设计师从事建筑与室内的双重实践，因此前卫建筑师的设计理念开始对室内设计产生影响，且逐渐明朗。后现代主义室内设计理念完全抛弃了现代主义的严肃与简朴，往往具有一种历史隐喻性，充满大量的装饰细节，刻意制造出一种含混不清、令人迷惑的情绪，强调与空间的联系，使用非传统的色彩，它所具有的矛盾性常使人产生厌倦，而这种厌倦正是后现代主义对过去50年的现代主义的典型心态。后现代主义室内设计理念主要表现为以下几种特点： 一、强调形态的隐喻、符号和文化、历史的装饰主义。后现代主义室内设计运用了众多隐喻性的视觉符号在作品中，强调了历史性和文化性，肯定了装饰对于视觉的象征作用，装饰又重新回到室内设计中，装饰意识和手法有了新的拓展，光、影和建筑构件构成的通透空间，成了大装饰的重要手段。后现代设计运动的装饰性为多种风格的融合提供了一个多样化的环境，使不同的风貌并存，以这种共享关系贴近居住者的意义和习惯。 二、主张新旧融合、兼容并蓄的折衷主义立场。后现代主义设计并不是简单地恢复历史风格，而是把眼光投向被现代主义运动摒弃的广阔的历史建筑中，承认历史的延续性，有目的、有意识地挑选古典建筑中具有代表性的、有意义的东西，对历史风格采取混合、拼接、分离、简化、变形、解构，综合等方法，运用新材料、新的施工方式和结构构造方法来创造，从而形成一种新的形式语言与设计理念。 三、强化设计手段的含糊性和戏谑性。后现代主义室内设计师运用分裂与解析的手法，打破和分解了既存的形式、意向格局和模式，导致一定程度上的模糊性和多义性，将现代主义设计的冷漠、理性的特征反叛为一种在设计细节中采用的调侃手段，以强调非理性因素来达到一种设计中的轻松和宽容。 后现代主义的概念至今没有一个确切的定义，这是由后现代主义的多元性和复杂性决定的。不确定性是后现代主义的根本特征之一，这一概念具有多重含义。后现代主义对当代人的精神冲击是全方位的，在思维理论论层面上可以肯定后现代主义的批判否定精神和异质多样的文化意向，后现代主义室内设计只有在其“异样事物”中，才会获得自身的规定和理念。现代主义与后现代主义并无明确的界定和严格的分界，后者将现代主义的观念重新予以选择和评估，使其部分的在新的历史条件下得以重新发展，后现代主义空间、玄学和隐喻等，也包含了现代主义的风格和面貌，所以也称之为“激进的折衷主义”。 现代室内设计的发展方向是一个值得探讨的学术性课题，在设计多元化的今天，室内设计也产生了更多的新风格，但可以确定的是，当前仍处于后现代主义时期。解析后现代主义室内设计理念是寻找经典的设计原则和对历史不断提出质疑的学术性探讨方式之一。 |
