• OffiCare handles the referral process: making the appointment, contacting necessary parties, and taking care of all the details.
• After the specialist treats the patient, the specialist confers with the OffiCare physician on the recommended course of treatment.
• Unless the patient needs to see the specialist again, the OffiCare physician will either provide the treatment or counsel the patient on how treatment will continue.
